Ray’s Tavern: Worth a Visit

Today, we ride the spectacular Unaweep-Tabeguache Scenic Byway (Colorado Highway 141), which takes us about 100 miles through the Dolores and San Miguel River canyons.

Miles and miles of red rock canyon on the Unaweep-Tabeguache Scenic Byway.

We arrive in the tiny town of Naturita (“little nature”), turn west and ride toward Moab. We pass the entrance to Arches National Park, and continue on to Green River, Utah, where a fabulous dinner at Ray’s Tavern awaits.

And now, a few pics from today’s ride.

Leaving Palisade.
In Gateway, Clarence catches up on the news.
Our four bikes approach the Utah state line.
Everybody wants to get a pic of Clarence.
Near the Utah/Colorado border, Dan stands in the middle of the highway to get the perfect shot. Of Clarence.
Welcome to Utah!
Utah. Finally.
Riding to dinner. It’s hot in Green River.
At Ray’s.
Walter Jr was famished. See you tomorrow 😀
