Geyser City: Ka-boom!

Goodbye, Tetons. Hello, Yellowstone. We leave Grand Teton National Park with morning coffee at the historic Jackson Lake Lodge.

Leaving the Tetons, we head north to Yellowstone National Park. When you think of Yellowstone, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?

Old Faithful. Geysers. Eruptions.

Ka-boom!

Grand Geyser erupted at 3:25 pm, about 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Ka-boom!
The eruption went on for 10 minutes, stopped and started again. Ka-boom!
Geyser eruptions: quite the spectator sport.
Grand Geyser is the largest predictable eruption in the world.
Fun to watch. The geyser, too,
We also watched Old Faithful erupt. It puts on a pretty good show, too. Ka-boom.
Gary says ”Bye, y’all.”
Sarah says ”Goodbye, y’all.” (from Jackson Lake Lodge)

No idea what tomorrow will bring.

Vroom. And ka-boom!
